Local data includes health logs, settings, and cached content. This data syncs with our servers when online.

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies

6.3 Impact of Disabling Cookies

Disabling essential cookies may:

  • Prevent you from logging in

7. E2EE Key Storage

For end-to-end encrypted messaging, we store cryptographic keys locally:

  • Device ID: Unique identifier stored in localStorage
  • Olm Keys: Encryption keys stored in IndexedDB
  • Store Passphrase: Encrypted key storage passphrase

These are essential for secure messaging and cannot be disabled without losing access to encrypted conversations.

We respect Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. When DNT is enabled, we disable non-essential analytics cookies.

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
