Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules for using Swasth. By using our platform, you agree to follow these guidelines.

When using Swasth, you should:

  • Act honestly and in good faith
  • Respect other users and their privacy

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Dangerous health misinformation
  • Content glorifying violence or abuse
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Content exploiting or endangering children
  • Graphic medical images without appropriate context

2.3 Harassment and Abuse

You must NOT:

  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
  • Stalk or unwantedly contact users
  • Send threatening messages
  • Dox or expose private information about others
  • Impersonate other users or professionals
  • Discriminate based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or other protected characteristics

2.4 Misinformation

You must NOT spread:

  • False or misleading health claims
  • Unproven medical treatments as cures
  • Anti-vaccination misinformation
  • Fake professional credentials
  • Fraudulent health products or services

2.5 Professional Misconduct

Healthcare professionals must NOT:

  • Provide services outside their licensed scope
  • Misrepresent qualifications or credentials
  • Engage in inappropriate relationships with clients
  • Breach client confidentiality
  • Practice without valid credentials
  • Make false or misleading health claims

2.6 Technical Abuse

You must NOT:

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Scrape data without authorization
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Use bots or automated systems without permission
  • Overload the platform with excessive requests
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineer the platform

2.7 Commercial Abuse

You must NOT:

  • Spam users with unsolicited promotions
  • Sell or transfer your account
  • Use the platform primarily for advertising
  • Engage in pyramid schemes or MLM promotion
  • Solicit users for external services deceptively

3. Content Guidelines

3.1 User-Generated Content

Content you post (recipes, posts, reviews) must:

  • Be accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Not infringe intellectual property rights
  • Include appropriate warnings for allergens or risks
  • Respect others' privacy
  • Be appropriate for a health-focused platform

3.2 Recipe Content

When sharing recipes:

  • Provide accurate ingredient lists
  • Include allergen information
  • Note dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
  • Give credit for adapted recipes
  • Do not promote dangerous or extreme diets

3.3 Professional Content

Healthcare professionals posting content must:

  • Provide evidence-based information
  • Clearly distinguish advice from general information
  • Include appropriate disclaimers
  • Comply with professional advertising regulations

4. Social Features

4.1 Following and Followers

  • Respect users who don't want to be followed
  • Do not use follow features to harass
  • Do not buy or sell followers

4.2 Comments and Interactions

  • Keep comments constructive and relevant
  • Do not spam comments
  • Respect disagreements civilly
  • Report inappropriate content

5. Privacy and Data

  • Do not share others' personal health information
  • Do not screenshot and share private conversations
  • Respect privacy settings and data sharing preferences
  • Do not collect user data for external purposes
