  • Baby profiles (children aged 0-5 years)
  • Child health data entered by parents/guardians
  • Family circle data involving minors

2. Age Requirements

2.1 Account Creation

  • 18+ years: Can create accounts independently
  • 13-17 years: Requires verifiable parental consent
  • Under 13: Cannot create accounts; data managed by parent/guardian

2.2 Baby Care Features

Baby care features are designed for parents/guardians to track their children's (0-5 years) health and development. Children do not directly access these features.

3. Data We Collect About Children

3.1 Baby Profile Data

Through baby care features, parents may enter:

4. Parental Consent

4.1 How We Obtain Consent

For children's data, we require:

  • Parent/guardian account creation and agreement to Terms
  • Explicit action to create baby profiles
  • Acknowledgment of data collection for child features

4.2 Verification

We verify parental relationship through the account holder's declaration. We may implement additional verification measures as required by applicable laws.

4.3 Consent Withdrawal

Parents can withdraw consent at any time by:

  • Deleting baby profiles
  • Removing children from family circles
  • Contacting us to request data deletion

5. How We Use Children's Data

We use children's data only for:

  • Providing baby care tracking features to parents
  • Generating growth charts and development insights
  • Vaccination reminders and schedules
  • Nutrition recommendations based on age
  • Sharing with healthcare professionals (with parental consent)
  • Family circle data sharing (with parental consent)

5.1 We Do NOT:

  • Use children's data for advertising
  • Create behavioral profiles of children
  • Share children's data with advertisers
  • Allow children to directly interact with the platform
  • Collect more data than necessary for the features

6. Data Sharing

6.1 With Healthcare Professionals

Parents may choose to share baby health data with connected pediatricians or healthcare providers. This requires explicit parental consent.

6.2 With Family Members

Baby profiles can be linked to family circles, allowing trusted family members to view growth and care information. Parents control this sharing.

6.3 No Third-Party Sharing

We do NOT share children's data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement enhanced security measures for children's data:

  • Access restricted to parent/guardian account
  • Encrypted transmission of all data
  • Secure storage with access controls
  • Limited staff access on need-to-know basis
  • Audit logging of data access

8. Data Retention

Children's data is retained:

  • While the baby profile exists
  • Until parent requests deletion
  • Until account deletion (cascades to baby profiles)

We do not retain children's data longer than necessary for the stated purposes.

9. Parental Rights

Parents/guardians have the right to:

  • Review: Access all data collected about their child
  • Correct: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Delete: Request deletion of child's data
  • Refuse: Refuse further collection of child data
  • Export: Receive child's data in portable format

10. Age Transitions

When a child in a baby profile reaches age 5, parents should consider transitioning health tracking to appropriate features. We may prompt parents to review data retention.

11. Compliance

This policy is designed to comply with:

  • DPDPA 2023: India's data protection requirements for children
  • COPPA: US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (if applicable)
  • GDPR-K: EU protections for children's data (if applicable)

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Children's Privacy Policy. Material changes affecting children's data will be communicated to parents before taking effect.
